Prefab substation for site Landegem
New cabin for our partner
The Landegem site has recently received a valuable addition with the installation of a new cabin built specifically for the holding company Het Veer. This project is the result of the collaboration between several specialized companies that each contributed their expertise to make this project a success.

Collaboration between different partners
Deba was responsible for both the delivery and installation of the cab. With their experience and expertise, they ensured that the cab was placed safely and efficiently in the right location.
SGC SwitchGear Company installed the DF-2 material in the new cabin. This high-quality material is essential for optimal operation and durability of the installation.
Mevoco provided the components of the medium voltage DF-2 cells.
The custom cabin doors were from Robby.
V coat provides the perfect blue finish for doors and cells.
The new cabin will play an important role in the future growth and development of the site. The Het Veer holding company will gain 8 new loading stations. And thus be able to further expand and optimize their services. The project illustrates how synergy between different areas of expertise can lead to results that meet the specific requirements of modern industrial facilities.
Did you know. The station weighs 39 tons and is 10 meters long!
Installation Process of Concrete Housing with DF-2 Material
The concrete casing is fitted with the high-quality DF-2 material and carefully picked up by Deba. This casing is then transported by flatbed trailer to the site, where the specialized installation team is ready to start work. The team is equippedimmediately grab crane, anessential tool for carrying out the earthworks on site.
Once on site, the installation team from Deba begins site preparation. First, all vegetation on the site is removed to create a clean and workable environment. Next, an area of 9 mÂł of soil is excavated to make way for the housing foundation. This preliminary step is crucial to ensure a stable foundation for installation.
After excavation, the necessary cable cutouts are made in the excavated soil. This ensures that the necessary cables can be easily placed and connected later. A layer of stabilizing soil is then added to strengthen the foundation and prevent further subsidence. It is very important that the foundation is laid level to ensure the stability and durability of the enclosure.
The next step in the process is placing the casing. Using a 50-ton crane, the concrete casing is carefully placed in its proper position. This precision operation ensures that the casing stands firmly and securely on its foundation. After the casing is in place, the removed soil is shoveled back around the plant. This not only creates a stable environment, but also allows for new landscaping around the MS casing, contributing to a neat and aesthetically pleasing finish to the job site.
The final stage of the installation process includes the technical connection of the MS and LS cables. These cables are expertly connected by our team so that the cabin can be made fully operational. Once all connections are completed and verified, the cabin can be put into operation, ready to fulfill its role in the power supply.
This detailed process, from preparation and excavation to installation and connection, underscores the care and expertise with which our team works. By carefully following each step, we can guarantee the highest quality and reliability of our installations.
