Cabin with red stone strip
Cabin BX134
CDC built this perfectly landscape-fitting concrete precast cabin for Equans Industry
At CDC, we are proud of this project: a specially finished precast for a new high voltage cabin installed by our client Equans Industrie near Chateau d’Archenne, recognized cultural heritage located in Grez-Doiceau, Walloon Brabant. For the realization of this project, Cabines de Ciney worked closely with our sister company V Coat, specialists in surface treatment.

Cabin Technical Specifications
Facade: The facade of the cabin is aesthetically finished with understated Boston Red stone strips with matching grout for a perfect visual fit with an already existing adjacent technical cabin.
Saddle roof: On top of the flat concrete roof of this cabin according to Synergrid C2/115, we mounted a saddle roof with classic, dark-colored roof tiles in accordance with the requirements of the building permit.
Gutter with vertical drain: Made to measure and in the matching color, for reliable drainage of water along both slopes of the gable roof.
Ventilation grille and emergency cable hatch: Both facilities are painted qualitatively according to Qualicaot requirements in the color RAL 8019.
Cellar: The cellar of the cabin provides a useful height of 800 mm in accordance with the provisions of Synergrid C2/115
Weight: The total weight of the cab is 18,000 kg, including 15,900 kg for the cab itself and 2,100 kg for the roof. This robust weight ensures stability even under tough conditions.
Â
Door: The Synergrid C2/115 compliant aluminum door offers a useful passage of 1030Ă2040 mm and is Qualicoat painted in the color RAL 8019.
Equipped with a low ventilation grille, the door combined with the high gable grille provides optimum air circulation.
The door is equipped with a 3-point locking system and 4 robust hinges. This offers an advantage towards burglary protection.
The door is equipped with a door stop with an operable anti-panic device across the entire door width, this ensures additional safety and ease of use for authorized technicians during their work in the high-voltage cabin.
The door was produced by our partner Robby Metal.
